Even Hitler Hates the iPad!

I usually never agree with genocidal dictators but Hitler does make some good points…

The ipad has created a niche for itself (an arena in which Apple excels!) and has artificially established itself as something we’ve all been suffering through life without having…

Most of us who already have iPhone (or any other comparable smartphone) and laptop may see no value in this new device since we can easily check our email on our pocket-sized phones….and if we need to really surf the web or watch movies we can whip out our more robust laptops.  What the iPad is, is a larger iPod touch that’s too bulky or feeble for most of its intended functions.

Here’s how I see it “fitting into my life”.  If I didn’t already have a perfectly good Sony Reader Touch and was looking for one of the higher-end e-Readers (like say, the Kindle DX) then I’d splurge a bit and get the full-color iPad.  This is where it really fits in nicely!

This is a hilarious recapping of the BSG storyline to the tune of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody…

NVIDIA Ion mini-ITX System Build Guide

January 19th, 2010 No comments

I’ve found a great guide on building an Ion-based mini-ITX form factor HTPC.

This is a great, affordable alternative to a media player (such as the WDTV by Western Digital or the much more expensive Popcorn Hour) and actually preferable to dedicated Blu-Ray players which have limited functionality.
